Unwind your mind and join us for a fun walk/run with food, games, and prizes!
When & Where?
The inaugural Mind Unwind 5K Festival will take place on
Saturday, April 24th @ 6:00 PM in the Wolf Pen Creek Festival Site.
Pets
Pets are allowed in Wolf Pen Creek Park, but please remember to be responsible and respectful with your pet.
At the event we will ask you to sign a standard Student Organization Waiver, Indemnification, and Medical Release Form. The form may be found at the following link: tx.ag/fi6H9nH
Waiver
Yes, however to help with planning, we ask that you purchase before
April 24th to guarantee your correct size.
Will I still get a shirt if I purchase a ticket after April 24?
Why?
This initiative combines efforts of student organizations of the Texas A&M Engineering Department in a fundraiser for the sole benefit of Upbring, an organization focused on enriching the lives of children who have gone through severe neglect.
Parking
There is some parking available at the park and overflow parking available in the Post Oak Mall parking lots a short walk down the road.
Do I have to run?
Of course not! You are more than welcome to walk, run, or both!
Can I just buy a shirt?
Yes! If you are not partial to 5K races, please consider supporting this initiative by buying a ticket just for the shirt! If you chose to do so, please contact us to coordinate delivery.
